[gsoc20] Proposal review for extending Boost.Multiprecision to higher precision

Boost - Dev mailing list
Hi Boost community,

I have prepared a draft of my proposal for extending and optimising
Boost.Multiprecision to higher precision, after an initial discussion with
Christopher Kormanyos:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/100he6gJnUCilhsEiRWaL7PYi0IZaAL4tJfu-D3yF_Xk/edit?usp=sharing

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dim131

Hi Dimitri,

You should add a couple of things to your proposal
1) short overview of what boost.multiprecision is or does - because it is not obvious to the reader
2) state of this library currently - because it sounds like you are proposing to fill-in missing functionality
3) Milestones should include writing documentation

Best Regards,

Hi Kosta,

Thank you very much for the feedback.

1), 2) I have updated the proposal summary to make these clearer.
3) I had already included documentation as a subgoal for one of the
extensions (and I thought it was implied for all new code), but now I have
made it a milestone on its own (M5).

Let me know if you have any other comments.

Kind regards,
Dimitris

 Hello Dimitris,
Coming down to the wire on proposals...
I just want to make sure that you havesubmitted your proposal to the formalplace required by Google.
I am uncertain of the formal location, even thoughI should probably be expected to know this.
Does anyone know this propoer submit location?
And Dimitris, have you submitted there?
Kind regards, Chris
